Margosa Oil (Azadirachta Indica)
Neem Oil is a natural vegetable oil extracted from the seeds (kernels) of the neem tree (Azadirachta indica). Rich in naturally occurring bioactive compounds such as azadirachtin, nimbin, and salannin, it has been valued in Ayurveda for centuries for its skin-supporting and cleansing properties. Neem Oil is widely used in skincare, hair care, herbal formulations, cosmetics, soaps, and agricultural applications.
Regarded as Nimba in Ayurveda, classified as Tikta (bitter) and Kashaya (astringent) with Sheeta (cooling) properties. Traditionally valued as Krimighna (microbial management) and Kusthaghna (skin hygiene support) for balancing Pitta and Kapha doshas.
